Messi confirms what Antonio Conte told him after the game

And interesting moment occurred when the referee blew his whistle for full-time, as Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, approached Lionel Messi and had a chat.

It turns out that Conte couldn’t miss up the opportunity of personally complimenting the Argentine.

“When you have the opportunity to make a great compliment to Messi, it’s right to recognise a super, super, super top player,” he said.

Messi confirmed the chat was complementary, telling UEFA after the game: “I did not listen to Conte, he told me, obviously grateful to tell me those words and, nothing more.”
